Ptosis can be improved with serum? Very strong effect immediately after applying (Photos)

Hello: I had a ptosis surgery combined with blepharoplasty. The blepharoplasty went totally ok but ptosis correction didnt obtained results. My ptosis is mild and the procedure employed was mullerectomy (phenylephrine test positive). The height of my eyelids didnt change a single mm (mullerctomy was done on both eyes). Now with a DMAE serum with tensing effects I see my ptosis corrects. Very strong effect inmediately after applying and lose effect in 30-60 minutes, is this normal?

Although muller's/conjunctival resection has a lower chance of creating dry eye than levator advancement or resection, there is still a possibility as the eye is more open with more exposure to tear film evaporation.

Thank you for sharing your question and posting your photos. Your mild ptosis could probably be corrected with with minimal surgery. You should be evaluated in person by an experienced oculoplastic surgeon who can guide you in choosing the best option. I hope this helps. Good luck!

Based on the photos, you do have eyebrow ptosis which would benefit from a brow lift from an aesthetic point. Your photos are not ideal for evaluating eyelid ptosis, however, as you are looking down. You need to look directly into the camera lens if you are doing a selfie, not at the screen.
