I had a Fraxel 1550 only. Setting 70mj, TL8, 8 passes. I bronzed all over like normal. I extremely crusted down the area where laugh-lines would be & the sides of my chin. I believe the area was burned. It dried & peeled several times in that area. Even after I completely peeled my face was very tight. It's been over 3 wks & I'm still very reddish brown. I can see a major difference on my forehead between where it was done & where it wasn't done just above my eyebrow. Why am I so very red?

The Fraxel Restore may be used on Fitzpatrick Skin Types I through V. The density must be much lower for darker skin types so be sure to see an experienced provider. I would use it only for acne scars on skin type V.
It is possible to have a small acne flare after Fraxel laser treatments. You should avoid your acne creams for a few days after your Fraxel treatment and restart them when you feel your skin is no longer sensitive from the laser treatment.
