Does regular dermarolling increase the skins ability to absorb skincare products, even days or weeks afterwards?

I recommend physician supervised treatments because, as you know, derma rolling is being done to generate collagen which may thickness of the skin .The thicker the skin, the less likely that products will be absorbed through it. 

The openings from microneedling begin to close quickly after the treatment, and most are closed within an hour. The barrier layer of the skin is only a fraction of a millimeter, and longer needles have actually been shown to be less effective in enhancing penetration. The thickness of the collagen layer below will NOT affect the penetration of topical products.It is very important that anything put on the skin after micro-needling has been tested and proven to be safe to use after this procedure. Micro-needling creates thousands of micro-channels in the skin which enhance penetration of topical serums and medications, dramatically increasing their effectiveness. Up to 80% of product can penetrate the skin compared to 7 to 10% with normal topical application.
