My skin is lets say, 'mature' ;) i'd like skin care experts to suggest best ways to rejuvenate and repair from years of ignoring skin maintenance.
Answer: Rejuvenating skin There is really no way to answer this question for everyone. A skin rejuvenation program should be designed for the individual patient with several considerations in mind: Degree of desired result Amount of accepted downtime Financial budget In addition, there are really two phases of skin rejuvenation: The initial step (rejuvenation), where healthy skin is restored. A maintanence phase, where this healthy appearance is maintained.

Answer: Multiple treatments can be done like resurfacing lasers, chemical peels, Microneedling with RF Fractional laser is an amazing and highly effective treatment in our office. We use the laser treatment to help with acne scars, large pores, fine wrinkles, tissue collagen loss, scars, sebaceous hyperplasia, active acne, and for brightening dark pigmentation. Although there are very strong fractional lasers such as CO2 laser, we use lighter treatments for corrective skincare and maintenance of results. Our Thulium fractional laser, clear and brilliant laser, and Ultra Thulium laser are excellent options in our clinic. We also perform CO2 fractional and erbium depending on skin tone and tolerance for downtime. Patients do have to use a Melarase cream before and after treatment to help further reduce pigmentation after laser. Dark spots can improve with these treatments. I recommend fractional laser for incisional scars as well, especially after plastic surgery. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Different choices in skin rejuvenation Thank you for your question. Skin rejuvenation is one of the top requests we get at my practice, as men and women alike are looking for nonsurgical ways to turn back the clock on their appearance. We offer a broad range of treatment options, from fractional laser resurfacing to quick injectable procedures. I recommend you make an appointment with a board-certified dermatologist that specializes in skin rejuvenation. Schedule an in-person consultation for a comprehensive examination of your concerns and a discussion of your cosmetic goals. An experienced provider should be able to design a customized treatment plan for you to refresh and rejuvenate your appearance. Good luck!

Answer: Skin Rejuvenation There is not a simple answer to this question. A skin rejuvenation plan/treatment depends on the patient and the severity of damage to the skin. Our treatment plans are not a "one-size fits all," but rather a customized plan based on your individual needs. We do believe that to correct damage and maintain results a combination of procedures and at-home skin care will yield the best results. As far as skin care I would always recommend sunscreen to prevent the skin damage from worsening. A Retinol or Retin-A to improve the texture of the skin and a Vitamin C to improve the tone. These are some staple products that should be in your skin care regimen. I suggest setting up a consultation to create a plan that best suits your needs.
