Any possibilities of me going back to work 5 days after a hetters peel. I don't see the public.
Answer: This peel has downtime but it's worth it It’s true that a Hetter peel, or any peel for that matter, can be made of different strengths. If you’re going to do a Hetter peel, it’s safe to say it will be an extremely strong peel. Even under the best of circumstances your skin will be peeling five days after the procedure. Treated areas will develop new skin within about two weeks after a Hetter Peel. Most people take more than five days before they return to work but if you work at home and/or don’t get self-conscious than you should be just fine. Don’t underestimate the power of this peel and listen to your body if it’s telling you to get more recovery time. This peel offers tremendous results and after your recovery, you'll be glad you made the investment in yourself. I wish you the best!

Answer: A Hetter peel is not a single peel formula. It has profound variation in the strength of the agents used. That means you could have variation from a peel that is like a phenol 89% to a near Baker Gordon peel. Depending on precisely the nature of your job, 5 days to return to work is not enough time even for the most mild of the Hetter formulas. Now if you have your peel on a Friday and take the following week off, it is very realistic to return to work the following Monday. That is more like 9 days before showing up to work. Even then the face with camouflage make up is not going to be exactly perfect. It will be weeks before you reach a point were it is just very unlikely that no one will notice that something is up. These are great peel options so I think you are on the right track, just give yourself more time to heal.

Answer: 5 days after Hetter peel The Hetter peel can be done with different intensities, depending on the percentage of croton oil in the mixture, and the number of passes that are used. For most typical Hetter peels, at 5 days, you will still be early in the healing phase, and looking crusty. Most of patients stay home during this time, as they don't feel socially ready. If you want to work on the phone and computer, and not see the public, that could possibly be done.

Answer: Recovery time after chemical peel varies by depth The chemical peels developed by Dr. Hetter are croton oil based peels, and they can be used at many different dilutions. The main thing which determines the duration of recovery is how deep the skin is peeled. It's important to note that croton oil peels are potent enough to give great results, but they must be used by doctors with appropriate training and experience. These peels are very different from the much lighter chemical peels performed by aestheticians. When performing a deep chemical peel (deep enough to improve substantial wrinkles, skin texture and skin discolorations), it takes the face 10-14 days to heal enough so makeup can be applied. Before that time, the face looks very red and raw appearing, and it must be kept covered with ointment to prevent it from drying out. There isn't much pain or other recovery, but it is not a good look...most people do not feel ready to go out until they can wear some makeup. Therefore in answer to your question: for most people getting some work done at home 5 days after a peel is feasible.
