I had laser hair removal done using they candela laser. I just noticed weird spots on an old tattoo i have. Could this be them lasering the tattoo by accident? The spots are flat and do not hurt.

question.Yes, it appears that the laser hit the very edge of your tattoo in those two areas.  It is doubtful that the ink will fade very much. It takes multiple treatments to get rid of tattoos.

To be sure, see two
or more board-certified providers in your area for a complete evaluation to
make sure you are a good candidate and that it is safe for you to have these
treatments.

It looks like the laser hit the tattoo.  Time will tell what happens but there is nothing that can be done in the interim.  The tattoo removal laser duration is in the nanosecond range and the hair removal laser is in the millisecond range.
