Is it normal for upper blepharoplasty surgery to change your vision?

I want to get upper bleoh surgery for droopy eyelids. A friend had it and it changed her vision from 20/20 to 20/300 at 7 weeks. Is this normal? I am hesitating but I need the surgery.

Based on this photo it appears that you may have enough skin on the eyelid to have excision and lowering of supra-tarsal fold. It is more predictable than fat grafting. Only on the basis of in-person evaluation one could decide what is better option of the two. Good luck.

Both eyelids have excess skin. You would benefit from an upper blepharoplasty. This can be done under local anesthesia, takes about 1 hour to perform and costs $4,000. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

If you do just the upper and lower bleph without the brow, I think you will be sorely disappointed. the low brow (and associated temporal hollowing) is the first thing that jumps out to me in these pics, followed by the upper eyelid/lower eyelid complex, which may not be 100% accurate anyway...
