6 weeks post op TUBA entry and have burning pain in my right arm pit. Started out just the skin being tender/achy then turned into a sharp internal pain that radiates, especially when I lay down making it nearly impossible to get a good sleep. Is this normal? What can I do to relieve it?

Thank you for your question. Yes two weeks, patients usually are getting more active, and starting to move the muscle. This may be causing you to get some inflammation in the area. Decrease your activity and see if this helps to relieve some of the discomfort. I hope this helps.
Kinigrl, thank you for your question. It is quite possibly that your blood pressure may have been elevated at your appointment. Generally this is not treated unless it is documented on several occasions and not just a one-time reading. Different size cuffs can also change the reading.
