Do I Need to Wear Eye Protection for At-home IPL Hair Removal Treatment?

I just bought a Remington iLight Pro for hair removal at home but it does not come with eye protection nor can i find a pair of protective eyewear specifically for IPL for less than $55. This seems outrageous. Are these really necessary? Would regular sunglasses help at all?

I recommend waiting to do IPL treatment once you are done with nursing.  Your hormone levels are still elevated while nursing and this may increase the risks for pigment issues with IPL treatment.

IPL will not do anything for the dark circles under your eyes.  You may be a better off with using a filler, like Juvederm or Restylane.

It can take 1 - 2 weeks for the coffee ground spots to flake off.  During this time, try not to pick at the spots, let them slough off on their own.
