I have deep lines around my mouth and cheeks . The nurse who gives me Botox and filler advised me to try the plasma pen next visit . The pics I see online look almost too good to be true ! Is this really an effective way to treat facial lines ?

Hello and thank you for your question and pictures. One of the main benefits of Plasma Pen is the reduction of fine lines and wrinkles. In addition to that, plasma fibroblast therapy will lift, tighten and regenerate your skin . Thank you for your question and submitting your pictures. We are seeing terrific results from the Plasma Pen treatments. My employees list this as one of their top treatments for restoring a youthful appearance. You may want to consider treatment with a dermal filler such as Sculptra Aesthetic to restore some of the volume depletion that is evident in your pictures. I suggest Sculptra as it is a collagen stimulator that gives a very natural appearance and works well with the Plasma Pen. Plasma Pen treatments should not be performed for 3 weeks following injection of neurotoxins (Botox) or dermal fillers.I hope this was helpful - Dr. Moore.
