Does Water retention cause seromas?

I retained a lot of water in my belly after my past surgery of BA. I was swollen for about 3-4 weeks after. Now that I'm considering a tummy tuck, this water retention worries so much. Will this cause a seroma? Should I expect this to happen to me?

Yes, it is very likely that you could have pulled or torn something with hard coughing. But no one here is going to be able to say if that is what happened. Why are you not going to see your surgeon to get the question really answered?
