Which would be best for me, a chin implant or sliding genioplasty? (photos)

np48
I am considering chin augmentation for my weak and receded profile, but am unsure which procedure if any is the best fit. I would like more horizontal projection, but don’t want to change the length of my face from the front too much. Does the sensation of having a foreign implant under your skin subside after healing, or is it permanent? What recovery time can I expect for each procedure? Based on the photos, which procedure is best recommended?
