Rhinoplasty recovery exposed stitches? Will I be okay? Please help:)

Wesołych Świąt from the US!  It sounds like you should be fine.  While I am not criticizing your surgeon for doing so, I never use Steri strips on rhinoplasty incisions like you describe for just the reasons you are mentioning - mainly they fall off.  Usually we just cleanse the area in the shower and remove any adherent scabs and crusts gently with a Q-tip and some dilute peroxide as needed, and just put a little bacitracin ointment and leave them open.  You will likely get them out at your next visit.  If you have any redness around the sutures, contact your surgeon right away, but it sounds like taking the Steri strips off will be fine.  Best of luck to you!

At this point in your recovery, leaving the steri strips uncovered will most likely be just fine. Especially as you have an appointment with your surgeon in a couple of days. Continue to follow the instructions of your surgeon, and if you experience redness or heat around the sutures, call your surgeon immediately, as those are signs of infection.
