The bonding I had for a chipped tooth 10 years ago is yellow. What should I do? (photo)

You seem to have lost your trust and confidence in your dentist, thus maybe it is time to have a consultation with one or two COSMETIC dentists.  If the chip is minimal, generally a new direct composite bonding can be done to replace it and restore your tooth to the proper shape and color.  Also, the newer materials used by cosmetic dentists today do not stain or discolor nearly as much as the older types of composite filling materials used ten years ago.

The simplest solution is just to
have the bonding replaced. However their are two options.   Bondings on teeth are made of composites and do tend
to stain over time so you may need to replace it again in the future. You may
want to consider veneers which are lab processed and made of porcelain and do
not stain as easily as composites. However with veneers it is usually difficult to get a perfect match if only one central incisor is done. It would be good to consult with a cosmetic dentist if you are not sure what would be best in your case.
