Will Adderall for ADHD affect Botox and its longevity?

I take adderall for adhd and I am interested in receiving botox injections. However, when I look into if there is an initial interaction or overall negative effect on longevity of the botox, I cannot seem to get a straight answer.

Currently, there is no scientific evidence or research studies that indicate a direct interaction between Adderall (a stimulant used to treat ADHD) and Botox (Botulinum Toxin). Adderall affects neurotransmitters in your brain, particularly dopamine and norepinephrine, while Botox works by temporarily blocking nerve signals in your muscles to reduce wrinkles or treat certain medical conditions.

However, everyone's body may react differently to medications and treatments, and individual factors like metabolism, overall health, and lifestyle can influence the effectiveness and longevity of Botox injections. The reason why you can't get specific information is due to a lack of studies to state the effects one way or the other.  There is no current contraindication between Botox and Adderall.  Typically Botox results last three to four months.  Final results are seen two weeks after treatment and will fade gradually.

You cannot seem to get an answer as there are no studies done on this topic. It is all provider experience based. To my knowledge after treating over 11000 patients and many of them taking some form of medication for ADHD, I have never been concerned about the effect of the medication on Botox. It is not even that important as your ADHD meds take precedence over longevity of Botox. Always ask your treating provider on their opinion and decide what is more important for you.
