How do I apply hydroquinone on my face? (photo)

Hi there. I’ve been using hydroquinone on my dark spots for 2 days as prescribed by my dermatologist. However, I applied it over my entire face and it has now left dark patches on my skin. My face is also very red. I am an Indian with a medium skin tone. I am not sure if I should continue using it or not? And any advice on how I should treat the burns caused by the hydroquinone?

Hi there,

If the HQ prescribed is to strong then mix it with some moisturizer and start slowly like ever other day and then gradually get to twice a day.  I would suggest to add a Vitamin C serum and a Retinol to your regime.  Follow up with your Dermatologist if  you are too sensitive.
