I’m considering Radiesse injections in my cheeks/lateral face, but may plan a deep plane facelift in ~8–10 years. Opinions differ: some providers say this is not an issue, while others warn that biostimulatory fillers may alter deeper tissue planes and potentially complicate surgery. In one study, there was no statistically significant difference in overall surgical outcomes, although the prior filler group showed a higher rate of reported complications; all facelifts were still completed successfully. From a surgical perspective, is prior Radiesse considered a relevant risk factor for a deep plane facelift after a long interval, or generally acceptable? Brief feedback appreciated.

If you do a fairly standard amount and it is done correctly, you should not have a problem with a facelift in the future - even sooner than 8-10 years from now.
