Today I am seven days post op. My recovery has been normal soreness and fatigue. The past two days I have noticed my butt is hot to touch. I’m not physically running a fever but my butt feels like It’s on fire. Is this normal
Answer: Brazilian Butt Lift A good candidate has enough fat available for transfer in the procedure. The amount of fat that can be transferred in a BBL depends on how much fat the patient has to harvest and the amount of space there is to move the fat into. It is recommended for the patient to have a BMI of 30 or less. If you are too thin, a Brazilian Butt Lift may not be possible.

Answer: Red, Warm Buttocks After BBL Thank you very much for your question and photographs. Unfortunately, from your pictures and information, it appears that your fat graft may be infected. However, it is difficult to provide any more specific advice without an in-person examination. Reach out to your operating surgeon immediately to schedule a follow-up appointment. He/she can assess your BBL results and the ‘feverish’ tissue, providing appropriate recommendations to ensure a safe recovery.

Answer: Fever in Butt Your buttocks fat grafted areas look like they may be infected. You must get immediate attention with IV antibiotics to try to save your buttocks fat grafting. This is the only way you can try to save a nice result. If there is any leakage, you should culture this in order to identify the bacteria you need to target with the antibiotics. Please keep us updated on your progress.Dr. Mowlavi
