Can Venus Freeze make sagging worse by sucking away fat below the skin?

My experience with Venus Freeze is that it left the skin on my neck and upper arms saggier than before. I am 62, thin, and fair skinned. I got VF treatments for early sagging on my face, neck, and upper arms, but my neck and upper arms look like they have aged by five years. Is it possible that VF removed the thin layer of fat from my arms and neck, leaving my skin worse than before?

Hi Loosie, I am sorry to hear that you are having trouble after your Venus Freeze treatments. Venus Freeze can be difficult sometimes because the effects you have from the treatment depend on the temperature that you are up to during the treatment. When we treat patients in our office we want the temperature of the patient's skin to be 39 degrees for skin tightening, anything higher than that is in the "fat reduction" zone. It is strongly advisable that you meet with your skin care specialist to discuss your results and or concerns. Best of luck! "Dr. Joe".
