My parents decided to remove my bicuspids at the suggestion of our dentist (huge mistake, in my opinion, but I was a child when it happened). I just had lingual braces put on at the beginning of September. Is my awkward, small smile a result of the bicuspid removal OR are my lips and "open smile area" just naturally small? I notice that when I smile, my lips don't open as wide as most. Will my braces help this? Should I get implants? Will my lips part more if I do? What will help? Thanks!!
