Braces all the way- go with your first option. Get your deep bite corrected and arches widened prior to any cosmetic treatment. Good Luck! 

I see that your are already missing two teeth on the lower arch, were they pulled or were you congenitally missing them?  You definitely show signs of total bite collapse and the treatment of choice is to do orthodontics to correct your bite before you have veneers to correct the chipped teeth.  A deep bite like you have can lead to a whole host of problems, jaw joint pain and dysfunction, excessive wear of your front teeth, poor esthetics, etc.  If you do have porcelain veneers they will serve your best, and last many times longer, if your bite is corrected first with braces.

Based on your photos, I wholeheartedly recommend braces.  Your arches are very narrow and they need to be widened.  Only braces can help with that.  Braces can also help correct your deep bite but your arches need to be widened first.  Once the arches are widened, you can then have some cosmetic dentistry done if you still want to.  I would suggest finding a dentist in your area who's trained in neuromuscular dentistry and orthodontics that can give your further details.  Good luck!
