I am tremendously pleased with the culmination of a longterm treatment that resulted in not only the end to my headaches but a beautiful smile that will last me a lifetime. I am now post treatment 5 years and counting, there is not a day that I do not enjoy the smile I have and when I do my eyes light up as well since smiling had been a painful excersize for me in the past. Dr. Mike, his knowledge and contineous training, the equipment he uses to be precise and his amazing and equaly professional team make the process seemless and I recommend everyone to them as well!

I finally decided to get the smile I've always wanted. I couldn't be more excited on how beautiful my teeth look now. A friend has told me I actually look younger, and now wish i would have done this a few years ago. 

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. $12,000 down the drain! Please don’t waste your time or money getting Veneers or any other costly cosmetic work done here, it seems they only care about money and not pleasing their patients.

I had Veneers on my top 6 teeth which i thought were a little too bulky and I didn’t like. They were done by Sam Latif at Ohio Cosmetic Dentist. I paid I believe 7200 or 1200 per tooth. I Told Sam I thought the two front were too big and overall I didn’t like how bulky they were, I told him I found another dentist who I had seen on instagram (Dr Firouzian) and that I plan on going to get them redone. He was disappointed that I didn’t like them but told me if I showed him I was really getting them redone and I set the appointment up and show proof he would refund me in full. So I did and he stuck to his word. Sam Latif is a real stand up and good guy who is not just in it for the money and I would highly recommend.

I set the consultation up at at Dr Firouzian’s office. I spoke with the office manager Shireen Firouzian and I explained to her my concerns and the problems with my teeth and she assured me that they would correct what I didn’t like and she also pointed out that I had some spaces that they would fill in and how that would make them look better.

February 6th of 2023 was the day I got prepped for my new veneers at Dr Firouzian’s dentist office. They took off the old Veneers done by Dr. Latif and put on the temporary veneers which I had to keep on for two weeks before I got my actual Veneers. The Temps looked really good in comparison to the Veneers that I had on previously. Feb 20 2023 was the day for my appointment to get my permanent Veneers put on. I got the new Veneers put on and before even seeing them to know if I like them Shireen who apparently is also the camerawoman comes in to the room with a camera in my face smiling from ear to ear telling me how beautiful my teeth were, She looked happier than me. lol Mind you my mouth is still numb and I haven’t even gotten use to them yet. To me, It wouldn’t have mattered how they looked that’s the standard for every patient that gets Veneers done. I noticed they looked a bit big for my mouth but wasn’t sure yet. They also have a monitor in front of you where they show you the before and after and on the screen they looked good in comparison to before on the screen. I left the office unsure if I liked them or not and it’s a lengthy and painful process so believe me I wanted to like them because I didn’t want to have to go through that again.

I got home looked at them more and noticed I now have an overbite which I didn’t have before, I previously had braces before both sets of Veneers and wore my retainer so my bite was normal. I complained to Dr Firouzian about my bite and the length and width. I also noticed they were bulky as well and stuck out at the top of my gum line. I was back in the office 8 days later. Dr Mike told me he would shave them down a bit but said there was nothing he could do about the width or bite and that they looked good so I took his word and let him shave them down. They appeared to look a little better at first but I couldn’t get past the bite. With how lengthy and painful the process was I still wanted to make them work so wore them to see was it just me and could I get use to them. I had leg surgery the next month on st Patrick’s day march 17 where I had a femoral rod removed from my leg. So it took months for me to be able to walk almost normal.

I made another appointment to where I basically told Dr Mike I don’t like them which I wanted to especially with the time consumption it takes and I actually liked Dr Mike and thought he was good guy. The appointment was on jun 19 2023 and again i told him they’re just too big for my mouth. He insisted on shaving them down once more and told me they look good and to go around other people and to see what they say. I agreed. They were shaved down again and I still didn’t like them. Like I said I thought Dr. Mike was a good guy it just hurt me to let him know I really hate them.

By this time I knew there was no way I was keeping these Veneers in my mouth the only problem was I didn’t know where I would go to get them done a third time being that i got two sets and neither of them looked good on me. My confidence was low and I was starting to believe maybe it’s just my teeth and no one would be able to get them too look natural and not like big oversized Veneers.

Feeling hopeless I reached out to Dr Mario Montoya he does a lot of the celebrities smiles, he’s famous on instagram. We spoke briefly on What’s app and i told him my story and I wanted to see what a quote would be for him to fix them for me. He told me that he would do 16 teeth top and bottom for $7600. Great deal and his work looks great on instagram. I was reluctant to go because he’s way in Columbia and I’ve heard so many horror stories. So I just decided to wait it out until I knew I found the right person in the states that could offer what I was looking for. I didn’t want to go to Dr Mike Firouzian to tell him I was getting a new set until I knew for sure I found the right dentist this time, being that I already made the same mistake twice.

In the meantime my leg was healing still from surgery and I was getting back to work I was searching and searching for someone to do my new veneers. I knew I couldn’t fully move on with life until I did I would not smile in front of people and just hated to open my mouth.

It took a while but I finally found a dentist while on Tik Tok named Dr Q out of Atlanta his office is called Art of Aesthetics. I found him in mid January of 2025. I went to his site and seen that he charged 200 dollars for a consultation via Zoom. We talked on zoom the 28th of January 2025 he assured me my teeth would be amazing and look natural if he did them from seeing his work I believed him and accepted. He asked when I wanted to come I told ASAP!! He gave me an appointment within a week he said it would be a 4 day process so I booked my flight and room and was excited.

Now that I finally found the right person to do my Veneers it was time to go back to Dr Firouzian and let him know I was going somewhere else to get them done because like I expressed to him a few times beforehand they were too big and just didn’t fit my mouth.

Now being that it took me a while to find a dentist and I didn’t articulate that my plan was to do so I didn’t expect a full refund, however I did expect to get reimbursed half at least. Dr Q got my appointment set up so fast I knew I didn’t have time to make an appointment at Dr Firouzian office because previously I had to waits weeks/ months for appointments. I decided to pop up at the dentist office and asked to speak with Dr. Mike directly. I spoke to the receptionist first and told her my concerns and that I had planned on getting a new set because I didn’t like the ones I had and I wanted to see if there anything we can work out financially being that I paid $12,000 dollars for teeth I don’t like. She told me they’re not going to refund most likely because it’s been too long. Her being a receptionist I know that she’s not the one who makes those decisions so I told her “That’s why I asked to speak with Dr Mike.”

She told me to hold on. She went in to Shireen Firouzian’s office to notify her then shortly opened the door and directed me into Shireen’s office. I told Shireen my plans and that I was going to another person to get a new set because like explained previously they were too big and just don’t fit my mouth. Shireen told me they were beautiful and told me how much I liked them when I first got them. All I could remember was her coming in the room with camera when they were done looking happier than me. I told her it doesn’t matter to me if she thinks they’re beautiful because I’m the one who has to live with them. I told her how I complained several times which the appointments were documented. She still insisted that I liked them as if she knew how I felt instead of trying to hear me out and understand where I was coming from and understand the amount of money I paid for a procedure that I clearly didn’t like or else I wouldn’t be going to get a new set. I tried to see if I could negotiate or work something out I mean $12,000 dollars is a lot of money to spend on anything and you’re not satisfied. I truly believed there would be no problem reimbursing me at least half being that Dr Latif gave me a full refund. Shireen also said to me that she didn’t think Dr Latif gave me a refund, I assured her that he did and she told me “I don’t believe that.” This is also documented and I’ve been nothing but upfront and honest so I didn’t understand why she would think I was lying. She treated me as if I was some charity case or freeloader looking to get my money back, when In fact I truly and genuinely just didn’t like the way my teeth looked or fit in my mouth. We went back and forth and there was no compromising with her, her mind was clearly already made up. Shireen Firouzian if you ask me didn’t want to come up off of any money, she felt she they got what they wanted the money and that’s all that mattered not a satisfied patient. I seen we were getting nowhere her mind was made up. I expressed to her I was getting the new ones on regardless, refund or not. After that I left. I thought some more to myself I still want speak to Dr Mike who seemed to be more understanding and who I thought could make the final decision even if the answer was no I still wanted to hear it from Dr Mike. I then called back and asked to speak with Dr Mike they took my number and said they’d have him call me back. This was a Thursday the office is closed Friday. Thursday or Friday I didn’t get a returned phone call.

I figured if I go get the new ones on first and then comeback and show Shireen look I really got new Veneers and wasn’t lying about not liking them she’d have the decency to change her mind about what she said previously and work something out about giving me half off at least. My flight was the following Monday. I got there and like Dr Q promised it was a four day process. When I say big difference and I’m so happy with my smile I mean I wasn’t unsure this time I seen and knew I loved them. My bite most importantly is back to normal, the teeth are not bulky, better material is used, and they just feel like my teeth rather than a mouthpiece. I flew back to Columbus Friday evening happy and satisfied.

I waited until Monday feb 10 when Dr Firouzian office opened to give one last attempt to see if there was anything we could work out being that he didn’t return my call. I dropped my son off to school that morning and headed straight to Dr Firouzian’s office. I walked in and the receptionist gave me a look of disgust like you again. I told her I’m here again because Dr Mike never returned my call, she then said she couldn’t help that he didn’t return the call and that all she could do was relay the message. I then demanded to speak with him and again she went into Shireen’s office and called me to the back. I showed Shireen the new teeth and the difference in size and bite. All she could say was I’m happy for you that you like your smile however like we already discussed there’s nothing she could do to give me a refund she said that I liked my teeth when I first got them and that was that. We went back and forth and then I realized again I didn’t even come to talk to her because her mind was made. I wanted to Speak with Dr Mike. I told her this she said he was busy and told me to leave before she calls the police. I didn’t leave I still demanded to speak to Dr Mike. She then proceeded to call the police. Now I was still demanding I speak with Dr Mike because she was not at all reasonable. My blood was boiling I was angry 12,000 bucks who wouldn’t be. I then seen Dr Mike in the hallway of the office and decided to approach him to speak with him and my anger had gotten the best of me I won’t lie , when I spoke with him it didn’t come out calm I was frustrated after being told to leave with no compensation he then told there was nothing he was going to do that it was up to Shireen. Shireen then came in between Mike and I and shoved me in the chest with two hands and all hell broke loose. She assaulted me for speaking, the police were already on the way to remove me but yet she felt the need to touch me. I yelled “Don’t you ever put your bleeping hands on me!” Dr Mike then walked away and left his wife and I in the hallway. Another dentist came from the back and was standing there as if he was security. Me already being upset after being told to leave and now assaulted I asked the dentist what he was standing there for, I didn’t know if he was a patient or a dentist because he didn’t have on scrubs he just hoodie and jeans. He told me he was a dentist. He said he was standing there because I was being too loud. I let him know that he didn’t understand my frustrations or know what’s going on and to stay out of it. He then tried to diffuse the situation and calm me down and insisted we step back into Shireen’s office to settle this before I leave. Even after the assault I stepped back in the office to see if we could come to a common ground one last time, still no hope all she kept trying to stress is how I liked my teeth before and she wasn’t reimbursing anything. Knowing that the police would be there any minute and that the situation was only going to to get worse I did what they wanted and left. I seen Columbus police pull in as I was leaving. Shortly after I get an Email from Dr Mike saying that had I been gracious and not demanding we could have worked something out. What a joke. Considering I was more than gracious at first. They got exactly what they wanted to have an excuse to say why they wouldn’t refund me. Mind you it took me acting out to even get an Email from Dr Mike. If you value your time and money don’t waste either by coming here, Worst experience ever!
