Can veneers make your smile wider? Help please

One of the main reasons people get veneers is to have a wider smile! Many times after the braces come off, the upper right and left premolars tilt inward, narrowing the smile. This is an ideal situation for conservative porcelain veneers since the porcelain will be used to broaden the smile. Definitely seek out an expert in your area to discuss how veneers can transform your smile. It is hard to know without photos, but I would say in general the answer is yes. Veneers and / or orthodontics / Invisalign can make your smile appear wider. My suggestion is that you list what exactly it is that bothers you about your smile and speak to your dentist about it. In the event that veneers are the right option for you,  we will often take pictures and models of your teeth. We will then make a digitally altered photo and veneer mock-up (temporary veneers just for diagnostic purposes) to show you and discuss what may be the best treatment in hopes of improving what you don't like about your smile.  Hope this helps!
