Can I get veneers on just my front two teeth? (photos)

Absolutely! If your generally happy with color of your teeth and your just looking to cover the dark " dead " tooth, then 2 veneers will look great.
We always recommend placing equal number of veneers to maintain symmetry. So If you do one tooth on the right, it looks best doing the same tooth on the left.
The more veneers you get,  the more changes you can make to your smile. In your case, If you have 6 veneers placed, you could significantly change the color and shape of your smile. I don't see much of a benefit by doing 4.

One very dark tooth is just hard to hide in your everyday smile.First, think about having Internal Whitening done, that can lighten the base color a LOT. Whether you have a few veneers or not, this makes for a better color blend across all of the front teeth.Many dentists CAN be this sort of whitening, but a Cosmetic Dentist will be able to get better results.Regarding how many veneers do you need, well, part of the answer depends upon how much you dislike the rest of your smile. IF you have other spaces or chips, then 4 veneers can make an amazing change.For this one dark tooth however, an extremely skilled cosmetic dentist and a Master Ceramist can make ONE veneer look like it matches. Even then, it can require extra time and some extra costs.Bottom line: find a great Cosmetic Dentist in your region, look at their before and after photos to see that they can get the results, then do whatever they recommend.

It is possible to get only two veneers, but it depends on your satisfaction with the shape and color of the rest of the front teeth. Seek a dentist who is an expert in this field, has many photos and reviews.

Ultimately, you must decide how "perfect" you want to be.  2 porcelain veneers would be a minimum, 4 would work very well, and 8-10 can get you as close to perfect as possible.
