Should I be worried that my right implant isn't dropping? It's only dropped a slight bit since surgery, it's not sore, and never was. It's so noticeably larger than my other breast and I'm becoming concerned. Although the breast is squishy and soft. It bothers me; when I bend over it looks huge and the other is so small. I noticed the cleavage crease is flat and not round like the other. Is this from under dissection of the breast pocket? Or is this common? No noticeable symmetr. issues pre-op.

Answer: Breast implants Thank you for your question. Without photos and more importantly, an in-person evaluation, it is nearly impossible to tell you how you have progressed in the healing process. I can tell you though that it is not uncommon for the breasts to heal at different rates after a breast augmentation. I tell my patients that they should wait at least three months before assessing the results of their surgeries as the breasts need to continue to heal, reduce in swelling and drop into place. The best source of information regarding your post-op journey will be your operating surgeon. Continue to follow his/her instructions as you move forward in the healing process to ensure optimal results. All the best,Dr. ResultsMiami, FL

Answer: Uneven breasts Hello, it can take several months for implants to settle, and sometimes they do this at different rates. If you are concerned it may be worthwhile to request followup with your plastic surgeon.
