7 months post-op, how long does it take to see arm liposuction results?

Good to know you are happy with your BR results. Results of Liposuction of arms depends on amount of fat deposits. Also i hope you have followed all post operative protocol like compression stockings and massaging of the areas. Sometimes the results may take long time to show up if the swelling persists which happens if you haven't followed necessary post op protocols. Never hesitate to visit your board certified plastic surgeon who can definitely help you better than you can on your own. Hello! Results should be visible at this point. It may be worth revisiting your preoperative photos and compare to postoperative photos of comparable quality to see if there is a notable difference.
Factors that help in outcome of the arms include watching your diet and exercising.

The timeline for seeing the final results of arm liposuction can vary from person to person and depends on several factors, including the individual's healing process, skin elasticity, and the extent of the liposuction procedure. However, here is a general guideline for the timeline of arm liposuction results:
1. Immediate post-operative period (0-2 weeks): Immediately after arm liposuction, you may experience swelling, bruising, and discomfort in the treated area. These are typical side effects of the surgery and should improve gradually over the following weeks.
2. 2-6 weeks post-op: During this period, you may start to notice a reduction in swelling and bruising as your body begins to heal. However, your arms may still appear swollen or lumpy, and it can take several weeks for the swelling to subside completely.
3. 2-3 months post-op: By around 2-3 months post-operatively, most of the swelling should have resolved, and you may begin to see some initial improvements in arm contour and appearance. However, it's important to note that the final results may not yet be fully evident at this stage.
4. 3-6 months post-op: Between 3-6 months after arm liposuction, you should continue to see gradual improvements in arm contour and definition as the remaining swelling continues to dissipate. Your arms may appear smoother, slimmer, and more toned compared to before the procedure.

Liposuction results may establish in one year. In some patients the edemas stay longer than others. So there is still time to settle for arms. When I do arm liposuction the results are dramatic and results can easily be noticed and before and after pictures.

Some plastic surgeons don’t have a lot of Liposuction experience even though they do it regularly or they have never mastered the procedure.

They go through the motions of doing a little Liposuction but in the end have no idea how much fat or exactly how to do the procedure to get quality results.

Did he review before and after pictures with you showing arm liposuction results during the consultation?

If you’ve paid for this procedure and had some expectation of getting some type of real result then that should’ve been discussed during the consultation.

All patients should follow up with their surgeons after surgery. They’re called postop visits.

Did your surgeon not schedule any follow-up visits?

You didn’t to go back and talk to your surgeon.

Have a before and after pictures taken and compare together with the surgeon.

If you see no improvement then talk to the surgeon about giving you a refund.

I tell patients they can see some thing resembling final results by about six weeks and by three months results are final.
