I had more threads added to one side of my face, days. That side is very swollen. I never had that on the other side. Is this just swelling? I have been using ice packs. The swelling has not gone down.
Answer: Post thread swelling Thanks for your question. Swelling is common and can be asymmetrical. There is a possibility of bruising as well. Continue to observe and follow up with the provider if you have any further concerns.

Answer: Post Treatment Swelling Thank you for your question. I suspect, given what you are describing that you may only be a day or so post treatment, in which case, some swelling is normal, with many patients experiencing post treatment discomfort and minor swelling. I would recommend ice packs and if you are experiencing any discomfort you can take paracetamol. A very low dose of codeine could also help if needed. If you are still concerned after 3-4 days I would advise contacting your clinician, and would also advise you book (if you have not already done so) your 2-week post treatment review.

Answer: Thread lift it is possible that you got the swelling coming from the pulling/ insertion of the threads. It must start going down after more or less 48h. You can ice gently and don’t do any massage in the area. I will advise to follow with the physician if it doesn’t improve with in 3 days. Dr. L.M.
