Androgenetic alopecia - Topical Cyclosporine - A is better than Topical Minoxidil and Topical Finasteride or not?

I saw one article on folliclethought.com RT1640 is composed of minoxidil, cyclosporine-A, and a novel drug RT175. So just thinking should i apply Cyclosporine with minoxidil as currently Cyclosporine is available in eye drop form in market or it is not at all effective Already applying topical Minoxidil 5% + Finasteride 0.1% from 2 years & i got new hair also but top back head hair density is less & never grow tall/miniaturized hair but other area grow tall

This is tough to answer without pictures and needs an in-person evaluation. I suggest seeing a hair loss expert now to evaluate and go over your condition and provide you information about your best treatment options. Cyclosporine induces "hypertrichosis" or increased hair growth and is therefore among the long list of potential hair growth promoters. In AGA, studies (see below) have not found cyclosporine to be particularly beneficial. There is certainly no data comparing topical cyclosporine to topical minoxidil / topical finasteride - and no reason to believe it should be more effective. ReferenceOral cyclosporin does not arrest progression of androgenetic alopecia.

This is not a standard treatment for hair loss and there is no evidence that using it is better than what you are presently taking
