I am an Indian with skin tone is similar Hispanic skin. I am concerned about hyperpigmentation with Fraxel Dual. Would Cosmelan be better? I plan on taking precautions (reduce sun exposure, apply hydroquinone etc) before the procedure. Since 1927 is the frequency used to treat melisma in the Fraxel Dual, can I ask the doctor to set 1550 to a low power setting (or even turn it off) to reduce the chances of hyperpigmentation? Almost all implants are placed deeper than the skin or even the subcutaneous fat, and sometimes even deeper than the muscle. Fraxel® resurfacing laser smooths skin/pores/scrars only at the level of the skin, so it would be unusual for a Fraxel® laser treatment to disrupt an implant in any way.
Fraxel lasers can cause post treatment redness, itching,
dryness, and ironically, hyperpigmentation. Early post-laser care is
vital. I would use a curated combination of Covalent peels, light fractional
