vaping is the inhalation of heated nicotine and propylene glycol. The main ingredient of nicotine is staining to your teeth and your aligners. The plastic will help trap the nicotine and can lead to much unnecessary tooth staining. I would suggest removing the aligners when vaping. Additionally, new literature is showing the harmful effects of “vaping”. Speak to your dentist or physician on ways of quitting.

Hi Marjones!Yes you can do Invisalign even if you have veneers, (but not crowns!), in fact many patients do. Invisalign offers retainer options, but not a permanent retainer. If that is something you want, you and your dentist can discuss options for a permanent retainer.

Hi Rzayan,The etching creates small grooves on the surface of the tooth that allows your Invisalign attachments to grip onto. Since they were sliding before, the etching is necessary for the Invisalign to work it's magic properly. When all is said and done, your veneers can be polished smooth again.
Hi there, Simple answer is no. The teeth sit in the lower jaw and invisalign does not move the chin down with intrusion. Oral surgery or a genioplasty is used to move the chin if desired, Best regards, Dr. Ed. Lowe
