Can Propecia reverse tall miniaturized hairs into thick terminal hairs?

I have a lot of tall unthick hairs all over my top scalp. Can propecia possibly turn them into thick terminal hairs??

No, not completely. 40 % of men who use finasteride will notice that some hairs reverse but it is never all the hairs by any means. Many users experience no reversal at all but the drug may help slow down their loss significantly. It is not correct to assume Propecia (finasteride) reverses miniaturization in all users. It is a remarkable medication but not without limitations.

Yes, Propecia is a wonderful drug.  It does thicken hair.  You will need to stay on this drug to maintain the effects, however..

Finasteride can absolutely help thicken existing hairs. It will also help slow down the loss and miniaturization of native hairs.

Finasteride can reverse miniaturized hairs. I have seen this happen in young men who are early in the hair loss process
