Can I stop using Minoxidil after just 19 days? Do I need to follow any steps?

I have used Minoxidil 5% for 19 days. I am not comfortable using it. So I stopped using it yesterday. If it is wrong to stop minoxidil suddenly? What steps to followed to quit Minoxidil?

Thanks for the question. This early in the process, you should be able to stop the Minoxidil without any adverse side effects. If you are uncomfortable with the medication, I can recommend a treatment alternative that has worked well for many of my patients. PRP hair restoration uses growth factors from your blood to stimulate dormant follicles. The follicles often begin to grow hair once again, restoring at least some of the hair you have lost. When you stop minoxidil, any results you've gained from it will be lost.  You will never become worse off than if you hadn't used it in the first place.After only 19 days it's unlikely there will be any changes.

Within the first month you can stop the minoxidil and not worry about hair loss from stopping it
