Thank you for sharing your question and posting your photos. You have very mild ptosis and a very slight amount of extra skin on your eyelids. You do not appear to be a surgical candidate to me due to the risk of over-correction. Try using Upneeq to see how elevated eyelids would look. Make an appointment with an experienced oculoplastic surgeon for detailed evaluation and proper guidance. Good luck!
Great Question! Blepharoplasty is a surgical procedure that helps treat eyelids, which can be performed on both the upper and lower eyelids. This surgery can help target the eyes by removing skin, muscle, and even fatty tissue. As with any surgery, finding the right candidate for the procedure is imperative. Schedule a consultation to find out if a blepharoplasty is right for you! Best, Dr. RG.
Thank you for your question. Based on your photo, I wouldn't recommend an upper blepharoplasty. Your whole upper eyelid is visible, with just the slightest skin redundancy. However, the eyelid itself may be a bit low (ptosis), and there is a surgery in which a small muscle is cut from the underside of the eyelid to reduce the droop. Lastly, a brow lift may be something of interest if you're still feeling that the upper eyelid skin itself is too low. Every time a patient comes to me regarding an upper bleph, I always start by looking at brow position. Hope that helps!-Dr. P

I am sorry for your problems. Unfortunately, this is some koi why I do not do transconjunctival lower blepharoplasty. The "lump" is the lower lateral fat pad. There are ways to reduce it surgically, but they have risks of causing lower lid descent. What you need now is fat grafting or filler to...
Common reasons for lower blepharoplasty include tear trough deformity or pseudoherniation of the orbital fat. An in-person exam would provide a more accurate diagnosis, but preliminarily based on your photos it does appear you have pseudoherniation of fat creating "eye bags.” They should also b...
