I had surgery inside my right nostril on the cartilage to remove a sharp bone spur but it left me with a white bony bump. It's small but it feels big. I can constantly feel it 24/7 but it's not painful (just really annoying!) and it's starting to affect me a lot. Is it possible to shave the white bony bump down so that its completely flat? What is this procedure called and how would I explain it to a doctor? Any help would be appreciated. I'm in the UK. Thanks.
