I have Cystic Fibrosis and my doctor won't take me off Azithromycin, or give me an alternative. But I have facial hair that is causing me a lot of mental distress. I have had a small patch test done under my chin which didn't cause any adverse side effects. But my clinic says that Azithromycin makes you photosensitive. And what could go wrong if I had a photosensitive reaction to the laser hair removal?

The hair targeted on your sessions will not grow back but you can wait a few months to allow the other cycles of hair to resurface. Some hair may still grow back, but certainly other hair may not.
We advise that you only shave the hair in the treatment area. This way you can ensure the laser reaches the hair follicles underneath the surface of the skin.
