Make sure you seek out multiple opinions before agreeing to do any jaw surgery/orthodontic treatment. Hi Alberto,Jaw surgery can be quite invasive and you want to make sure that you can go back to your surgeon for any issues that may arise, in addition to this, the surgery takes a lot of planning and healing and can be a fairly lengthy process so it would be difficult to do in another country. It is also in your best interest to choose a surgeon in which your orthodontist can remain in close contact with. I understand your perspective, but at the end of the day, for something so important you don't want to sell yourself short. Best of luck. 

You will have the best outcome from your jaw surgery if your Orthodontist and Jaw Surgeon are in close communication. It is also recommended that you find a board certified Orthodontist and a board certified oral surgeon for this comprehensive procedure.
