Your body may be breaking down the HA filler quickly. I recommend discussing your goals and concerns with your treating provider. You may need more filler than was injected or you may need to use a different, denser filler altogether.

When I see that my patient dissolves their filler very quickly the first time, the next time I use a completely different filler. In your case I would try to use Restylane as a filler and make sure you go to a plastic surgeon for this treatment. If the Restylane dissolves  just as quickly, you may consider fat grafting as your last and safe option. Good luck from New York City

Genetics, metabolism, exercise level, the type of filler used, and some studies even suggest sun exposure, can all affect how quickly your body breaks down HA filler. 6 ml is a quite a bit though it may be slightly helpful to remind yourself that it takes 5 full syringes, or about 5 ml, to fill just a teaspoon. Lip augmentation is my most common treatment and most of my patients do about 2-4 syringes annually, though that can vary depending on their natural lips and the look they're going for. The UK offers different types of fillers than we offer here in the US but I would recommend trying a denser product, just as Juvederm Ultra PLUS. The downside of this product in the lips is that it will not feel nearly as natural, but it should be more resistant to breakdown. See if that makes a difference in the longevity.
