I got 350 cc HP unders, small frame,32a, 5’5, 1 month post op. Everyday i feel depressed looking at it very round too much on the side. Will it ever shrink in size and look more natural than this? I am considering revision 275 cc moderate/moderate plus profile. How long should i wait before revision? Will it effect the pocket going smaller from larger implant? 350 cc to 275 cc? Is it a big difference? What are the risks? Instead of gainng confidence i feel so self concious.
Answer: Breast Augmentation Revision. How long should I wait? #breast augmentation #revision Thank you for your question! Having undergone a breast augmentation only one month ago, you will continue to see changes even up to one year. Most likely you will notice less roundness at the top part of your breast and most likely an improved inframammary fold (crease at the bottom of your breast). The changes may or may not be to your expectation yet waiting at least 6 months from the time of your augmentation will allow the scar tissue around the implant to thicken (the capsule) and this may be used to make necessary adjustments if and when you downsize. It also takes time to get use to increased fullness to the lateral aspect of your breasts and waiting may eventually translate into you liking what you see! That being said, I would speak with your surgeon and express your concerns. I suspect you and your surgeon can arrive at a plan for your anticipated recovery and potential revision. The downsize from 350 to 275 cc's is most likely at least a half to full cup size reduction. The risks will be similar to your original surgery yet a bit more complicated as there are always unknowns with regard to your results from your second operation. I suspect you may become more and more happy with your original operation, yet only time will tell. I hope this helps and that you find what you are looking for!

Answer: BA results Dear 8JA,I understand your concern and it is quite normal to be concerned about the outcome following a breast augmentation surgery. However, you are still in the very early stages of the healing process at 1 month post op.Your will need to be patient at this moment and follow what your surgeon has instructed you to do post operatively. At the early stage of the healing process, the tissues around the implants are still swollen. Once the swelling subsides and the implants drop to their final position, you will be able to see the final result of your breast augmentation surgery.Daniel Barrett, MD Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery

Answer: Breasts need time to drop and fluff At 1 month you are about 25 percent settled, shaped, softened, dropped and fluffed. No revision should be considered until at least 6 months. "Drop and fluff" refers to the fact that as the skin stretches and the muscles relax, the implants move down and out slowly – about 1 percent a day. It’ll be about six weeks before they even begin to settle down, but they’ll be close to 80 percent settled and softened at three months. Watching their progress is like watching your hair grow. You don’t see a difference in your hair growth daily, but all of a sudden you need a haircut. Be patient after surgery. Give yourself a few months before making a judgment about your surgical results. You won't know the outcome until then. Dr. Ted Eisenberg, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and Author

Answer: Mentor HP 350 Greetings. In general, it is expected to feel or notice some differences. This is only the first month post-op. Give it some time as things will continue to change. Also follow up with plastic surgeon as instructed. Best wishes.
