How long does hyaluronidase swelling last in lips?

Question

I understand juvederm will dissolve within 24 hours after injecting hyaluronidase, but how much and how long should i expect swelling for? My lips juvederm took more than 3 weeks for swelling to settle. Should i expect the same for dissolving??

Thank you for your question. It's too soon to tell what your final results will be. You have swelling, which can be asymmetrical, and last 1-2 weeks after lip injections. If you're unhappy with your final results, you can have it reversed with hyaluronidase and try a different technique next time. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Swelling after hyaluronidase can last 1-2 weeks. Keep in mind, it may take a series of treatments to dissolve fillers. Hope this helps.
