Can I Have Liposuction a Year After a Mini Tummy Tuck, Or Should I Consider Another Procedure?

     This would be hard to give an answer without an exam.   If there is a fat issue and not a skin or abdominal wall issue, liposuction may be appropriate.  Find a plastic surgeon with ELITE credentials who performs hundreds of liposuction procedures each year.  Then look at the plastic surgeon's website before and after photo galleries to get a sense of who can deliver the results.

If you are complaining of a bulge in the mid to upper abdomen that may be related to needing a plication of the muscles and not more liposuction. Hard to say without an exam.

Many ladies are unhappy with a mini tummy tuck's results as they do not address the entire abdomen just the lower abdomen.  They do not want to scar of a full tummy tuck or a longer recovery however you need to remember a mini is not a full.  You may need to get converted to a full abdominoplasty.  I would suggest going back to your surgeon and perhaps getting opinions from other surgeons as to your best option.  Good luck!
