Should Two Front Teeth Crowns Be Attatched? (photo)

Asked By:Kelsey7

I have temporary crowns on my two front teeth and I am waiting to get my permanent crowns made and put on next week. I am in Korea and the dr. that is doing the work is Korean. He made the temps attached together as one unit and he said the permanent ones will be the same. I think it looks and feels unnatural. Is this standard if the two front teeth are fully crowed? Does the type of crown have to do with it? If the crowns are attached, does this increase risk of infection bc i cant floss btwn?
