Does drug induced Telogen Effluvium cause miniaturized hairs?

Hello. I am 33 years old male. I had drug induced TE from Depakote. I stopped the medication almost 2 years ago. My hair has grown back and I don't have MPB. But my hair is miniaturized all over. Is it normal and permanent? Thanks.

Discontinuation (or dose reduction) of the Depakote will usually result in regrowth of hair within a year. 
Hair miniaturization is the result of one's genetics, a nutritional deficiency, adverse drug reaction, high levels of DHT, and aging.
It can be treated with minoxidil (which may reverse early miniaturization by increasing blood flow) or finesteride (which lowers DHT levels and can prevent miniaturization). 
If hair loss is significant, a hair transplant may be considered.
Visit a hair loss specialist in your area for in person evaluation and discussion.

If you are saying that the hair, when it came back, was of a smaller caliber, then this may be a permanent effect.
