When Aligners are inserted they should fit intimately without any gaps. However, sometimes gaps appear and upon wearing the aligners the gaps disappear. Chewing on a cotton roll or chewies can help seat the aligner fully. Your dentist will determine if the gaps are acceptable or not. If too many aligners go by and the gaps don't disappear then a refinement is needed and new impressions need to be taken. Hope this helps. Good Luck!
No, the aligner should fit up against your tooth without any space just as it fits against your other teeth. If it does not fit properly, this could cause tracking issues and delay in results. Did the previous aligner fit properly? It may be possible to get to fit properly by using chewies to help seat the aligner over that tooth better. You should contact your dentist and advise him of the fit issue, and get it resolved before you move onto the next aligner.
Jroberts, Invisalign has a transfer form which I've used for patients who started treatment somewhere in the US. I suspect it would work for international transfers as well. Best to select an dentist or orthodontist to continue the treatment and have them contact Align Corporation. Dr. Neal

NOVADENT "Soft" cleaner is what I recommend and one packet lasts for at least one week with soak time of @15 minutes to clean and disinfect. Best product I've found. Just make sure to click on the English version of their French Canadian website to order!
