Can I use Tretinon before and after Laser Genesis?

Laser Genesis is a gentle treatment that usually has no down-time.  It is a wonderful way to reduce pore size, smooth the skin and minimize any underlying red tones.  We advise our patients to stop any products containing tretinoin 48 hours prior to their treatment and to wait 48 hours before resuming it.  However, some peoples' skin is less sensitive than others and, therefore, some people do fine without stopping it because the Genesis treatment is so gentle.  I would recommend that you stop for the first treatment and see how your skin does. 

Depends on the integrity of your skin - for the first session, stop 48 hours before, there after this can be modified according to your specialist recommendations. All the best, Dr Davin Lim
