Can vigorous rubbing 1 month after hair transplant affect grafts?

Went to the clinic I got surgery from today, and was trying out concealer to hide the redness for an occasion. Turned out I did not like the concealer, and the patient coordinator proceeded to very vigorously rub the area with an alcohol swap, so much so it was hurting, became more red, and I had a tingling sensation for quite a while after. No skin was broken, but it definitely hurt. Can this affect my grafts and the overall outcome of the surgery? Very concerned. thanks

Your best be is to wait until your next scheduled appointment to be evaluated by your hair surgeon. Then you will be more likely to be able to have a valid analysis of your situation. Your pictures look normal presently.

Scratching your scalp everyday, 2 months post-op, may damage your scalp, but it should not damage your grafts if you can stop it now. Whatever chemical you are using to adhere the fibers to the scalp is too strong. You need to change to a better, less adhesive product. Consult your surgeon for...
