1) What are your thoughts about the keto diet after getting a hair transplant? 2) How long should i wait before going on it? 3) Do you think it will be better or worse for the hair? 28 yrs old male healthy workout 3-5x/wk (will wait 3 weeks before weight lifting after the transplant)

The Keto diet can be a healthy way to eat and I don't think will affect your healing in general.

Its safe to have a keto diet after a hair transplant. Ultimately we don't just want to give a youthful appearance we also want their to actually be restored healthy lifestyle to match it.

I generally advise my patients to maintain a normal health diet and not change it during the early growth phase when good nutrition is important
