I had a root canal and a crown. Recently, I have swelling in my gums. Is this normal?

I had a root can several years back and had a crown, but recently the gum near to that part is swelling and pus comes out through a small pore when some pressure is applied. What is the reason?

It sounds like you have another infection in the tooth with the root canal. This is a problem and should be addressed with your dentist or an endodontist ASAP. The infection will continue to get worse and is putting toxins into your system
