Hair loss is not listed as a known side effect for Premarin. However, I do recommend following up with your Doctor about your concerns and possible side effects. Hair loss can be improved with prp and progesterone injections. Best, Dr. Emer

Minoxidil is a relatively safe medication.The main side effect is local irritation to the scalp.The function of Minoxidil is to prevent ongoing hair loss and help maintain what you have.If you stop using it you will continue to the lose hair at the rate determined by your genetics-it will not...

About 15-20 hairs on pillow in morning. Male, 36. Cause for concern? Or normal?

It is not unusual to lose 10-20 hairs per day,in fact you can normally lose 50-100.I would recommend a thorough  history and physical exam by a Dermatologist or experienced Hair Restoration surgeon to determine your cause of hair loss and recommend methods to prevent further loss.

In my opinion, finasteride has the ability to suppress hair loss and cause regrowth. Minoxidil is also able to do this however, I have seen better results with finasteride.
