I had presbyvision 1 week ago on 1 eye. I was told that eye would be improved for distance and the eye that wasn't done would be for up close. Right now my vision fluctuates for distance. Some days I can read something that is 10 feet away and the next day I can't. But anything at an arms length I can see at all it is just too blurry. For instance my computer screen at work. I pretty much have to put my nose on the screen to read anything. Even making the font large doesn't help. Is this normal?

Bad way to qualify a doctor because answers aren’t verifiable and it depends on if you accept challenging cases. My rate is about 5% which is very good because with LASEK I treat up to -18. More accurately it’s about 1% per diopter preop Rx (3% for -3 Rx)
Have you tried using lubricant eye drops regularly? Difficult to say without an examination but would start with simple treatments first before rushing into anything else.
