Dr Jain is a fantastic eye doctor, who sits down with you and explains everything in a clear and concise way; he gives you all the time you need and doesn't rush in any of the consultations. I had my eye surgery a few weeks ago and I now feel like a new person! My eye sight is great! I now wish I had this laser eye surgery many years ago. I highly recommend this clinic.
I would give it more time. It can take time for your vision and your brain to adapt to monovison and the different images it is receiving from either eye. Stay under regular follow up with your surgeon.
I would suggest using another lubricant like Blink, Hylotears or Thealoz duo. Hypromellose is usually not good enough post Lasik.
Have you tried using lubricant eye drops regularly? Difficult to say without an examination but would start with simple treatments first before rushing into anything else.
The flashlight shouldn't really have any impact on the Lasik surgery. Very strong light can sometimes affect the retina called solar retinopathy but this doesn't sound like its compatible with the mechanism you have described. You would need an extremely strong light over a longer period.
